Awaken the Strength....from non runner to one bad mother runner
Do you use a stop watch when you do the C25K.I want to do the program but I have no time to run outdoors other then late night or 4am. I noticed you said you use a treadmill, how do you use it to help with the C25K
One of my first few attempts at the C25K was with a stop watch on a HR monitor. I spent so much time monitoring it that one "attempt" week that I just wasn't feeling it! Another time I downloaded a podcast on my iPod Shuffle that would tell me when to run and when to walk. That lasted like a week or so. I liked it a lot better than having to pay attention to time myself but had to listen to the podcast guys music selection. I then got an iPod touch and since then have moved on to the iPhone. I downloaded the C25K app and I LOVE it! It does everything but wipe the sweat off of your forhead!I had to choose the treadmill option because I live in Southeast Alaska and didn't really feel like bearing the elements, especially as a new runner and I like the option of working out when it works for me.
